Access Information Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere – Self Service Portal A Boon for ICAI Members
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has recently launched a dedicated Self Service Portal (http://ssp.icai.org). This portal provides single point access to various information and services to it’s members. The initiative was undertaken by Committee for Capacity Building of CA Firms and Small & Medium Practitioners (CCBCAF&SMP), ICAI under the current chairman CA. Naveen N.D. Gupta and other committee members.
Honorable President Shri. Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated this portal at International Conference held in Kolkata on November 21, 2013.
Highlights of this portal

1. My Profile (Member Photograph, Registered Information at the Institute, Residential Address and Professional Address)
2. My Announcements (Various announcements of the committee and ICAI)
3. My Payments (All payments made to the Institute)
4. My Articles (Current and previous articles list along with their other details)
5. My Application Status (Every DAK status sent to ICAI since 1st January 2011 along with their pendency details)
6. Publications of ICAI (Free Downloadable Online Publications for Members)
7. e-Services (PDF Forms related to members activity of ICAI. Downloadable along with instructions to fill)
8. My Firms (Current Firms list and List of Partners and Paid Assistants)
9. My Software (Necessary software’s ventures by committee that are beneficial to Small and Medium Practitioners)
10. Letters & Certificates (Firm list with access to print Firm Constitution Certificate)
11. CPE Hours (Current and Past years CPE Hours of a member)
12. Guidelines of Networking
13. Rules of Merger & Demerger
14. Minimum Scale of Fees
15. e-Samadhaan (Query forum where members can ask any query related to profession and seek reply from panel of experts)

A three-day International Conference was successfully concluded in Kolkata on 23rd November, 2013, and a record number of delegates registered and actively participated and deliberated during the Conference on the issues including global opportunities for Chartered Accountants; banking sector-navigating through maze; emerging paradigms in education, technical standards and company law; competency mapping for capacity development of profession-country perspectives; sustainability and value creation- emerging paradigms; IT-rewriting rules of business; role of public enterprises in nation building; expanding trade through innovation and digital economy; global competitiveness—evolving dimensions of trade; sustainable growth through financial inclusion; and developing nation through wealth creation.
